And Together We Can Make a Bigger Difference.

The Charities
Asthma UK and the British Lung Foundation are the UK’s leading respiratory charities. Together, we fight for anyone with any lung condition. We provide hope through our research, looking into new treatments, better diagnosis, and even cures. Our health advice and Helpline provide help and support when it’s needed most. And we campaign to give a voice to the millions in the UK affected by lung disease, and the millions more at risk.

Second Sight was founded by an ophthalmologist and with the backing of eye surgeons with long experience of working in India. The ‘missing’ surgeons were sent out to key areas (in 6 northern states) in which cataract blindness was endemic; local doctors and nurses were trained on site. They decided to focus all our clinical and financial resources in Bihar – the poorest and blindest state in India. Mindful of the dire poverty of most people in Bihar, they have a policy of no salaries, no expenses and no admin costs.

Find out moreSmalls for All® is a Scottish charity that collects underwear to help adults and children in Africa and the UK who cannot afford or cannot obtain them.
Giving pants and bras can make a life-changing difference. Many girls miss out on days of school each month, and women miss work, because having no pants means they are forced to stay at home during their period. Men and boys need pants too of course, with requests coming from homeless charities and hospitals. So every pair of new pants donated is guaranteed to help give someone back their dignity at the very least. To find out more, please see: www.smallsforall.org.
