First cold pressed Prickly Pear Serum is a great anti ageing 100% Certified Organic wildcrafted serum sourced in very small batches from Morocco. Having gone through successive filtrations for purity, it is very high in vitamin E (150% more than Argan oil) and K, antioxidants and essential fatty acids helping to repair and protect the skin by moisturising and softening the skin. It refines skin texture, minimises and prevents signs of ageing and reduces under-eye darkness and hyperpigmentation. Prickly Pear seed oil contains the highest amount of vitamin E available in any beauty oil on the market.

Our first cold pressed (T<50ºC) 100% certified organic wildcrafted Prickly Pear Serum is sourced in very small quantities from a co-operative in southern Morocco, not in Mexico where a great majority of inferior Prickly Pear seed oil is sourced from. It is pressed without any  solvents or chemicals and goes through successive filtrations for purity.

It is antimicrobial, keeping skin clear of impurities and pollutants and correcting skin’s overall clarity over time.

Having antioxidant properties it helps repair and protect the skin. With a high level of Linoleic acid helping to fill out and plump the skin, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles and at the same time increasing firmness, also an element beneficial for mature or dry skin. Our serum has been shown to moisturise and soften skin, brighten under-eye circles, restore elasticity, neutralise free radicals that cause signs of ageing.

Our Prickly Pear Serum whose light weight finish feels and soaks into skin easily is ideal for all skin types including dry and mature skin types.

  1. Mark James

Highly moisturising, non greasy, a little goes a long way, effects are very good, dark circles under eyes, almost gone, skin feels tighter. Great buy.

  2. Julie Aries

I heard this was going to be the new ‘Argan Oil’ it has lots more vitamin E in it, I wanted to try it before it became trendy and the ‘in thing’ and mass produced and the market becomes flooded with it!
Most impressed, I needed a very small amount, it is easily absorbed into my skin, it is quite a thick oil, but easily spreadable, It does leave your face oily or greasy.
My skin feels much softer and the lines around my eyes are much less noticeable. I have been using for just 3 weeks to get these results. I prefer to use it at night and found that every other night is sufficient.
There really is not much of a smell to it at all.
This is the second product I have bought from this company, and I must applaud them for the quality of their products, and the customer service.

  3. Jane Rose

Absorbs really quickly into the skin, a tiny amount is needed, I use under my eyes daily, a marked improvement.
I also use on my elbows where I have always had dry skin, not any more!

  4. Jane

I’m very happy with this serum and will purchase it again.

  5. Alice Withers

I really like this. The Prickly Pear Serum is effective at smoothing out crow’s feet and my upper lip wrinkles, to the point that they have almost disappeared.
I use it daily, but you only need use a few drops using the pipette, it is extremely hydrating for my skin.

  6. Rebecca R

I use daily to moisturise my skin, it is quick to absorb and leaves no oily residue, I an good then to apply my makeup.
My skin certainly does seemed to have become softer since using, and a lot less expensive than a lot of things out there to do the same job allegedly, but this has all the ingredients listed, all ONE of them, and it is Certified Organic – Enough Said.

  7. Betty Rios

I love it, it is amazingly clear, and smooth on the skin. It goes on easily and is absorbed quickly. Because of the cost, I use it on my face only and have bought Argan oil for the rest of my body, if price was not an issue, it can no doubt be used for the body and hair as well.

  8. Yvonne Traimour

I went to Marrakech last year and was thrilled to buy Argan Oil from the Riad I was staying at, the oil was more expensive than in the Souks, but I thought it was better, and I trusted the owner.
I had almost run out and started my online search and came across The Pure Collection through Amazon. The reviews there were all great, and so I purchased it.
Now if only I had found this Argan Oil the first time round! It makes the one from the Riad seems like vegetable oil!
This Argan Oil has a much thicker consistency, it is not greasy and does not have that chip pan smell. So different.
I was ripped off before, but as The Who said “I wont get fooled again’

  9. Anne Downey

I read so much about Prickly Pear, hearing it was going to be the new Argan Oil, and decided to try it, I can see what all the fuss is about. my skin is so much softer, it feels really nourished, healthier too

  10. Ann Bolt

My husband has discovered this Argan Oil much to my disgust, he now uses it daily too. He likes it as it has no smell, and it keeps his skin softer.
I am going to hide the next bottle.

  11. Maureen Evans

Not cheapest, but believe me I do not do cheap. There are plenty of blended watered down oils that are cheap. I wanted real, first pressed, verifiable Organic Argan Oil, and thats just what got, no flimsy promises or advertising spiel.
No ‘Hydoprotein Acids’ “Lippolichin Madeupword pour le Vunerables’ or “Luminous Sensuality’ Just pure Argan Oil.
Its great , it does just what it should.
Top Marks for a Top Product.

  12. Ellen Blackman

My experience with serums in general has not been over impressive, It seems in the past I hadn’t noticed a lot of difference for the money spent.
This Prickly Pear Serum makes my skin feel so soft I use it after cleansing and before my night time moisturiser. I only use 2 drops, that is plenty for my face.
It has a lovely fresh cactusy / (?)smell. At present it does seem to be the new trend after Argan Oil.

  13. B. Black

This Prickly PearSerum instantly hydrates giving my skin a nice glow without leaving a sticky oil residue.
There is however a bit of oiliness, understandable I guess as it’s an oil serum, but it does feel lighter than other oil serums.
I have noticed that my skin has become more resilient and smoother in the 4 weeks that I have been using

  14. Risa Clarke

Such a good buy, after years in believing Argan Oil was the oil for me, I have been converted.
Prickly Pear seems to be even better, it has made my skin silky soft in such a short time, it really does hydrate the skin with just one or two drops.
I prefer my products to be organic and always look for Certified Organic products, and also it is so easy to get caught into the trap of “blended oils” make sure that the Prickly Pear Serum you buy is not blended with cheap substitute oils.. Just saying

  15. Joyce Wassim

I did initially buy this oil for my daily skin routine, and a friend mentioned it was great for hair too. I was a little cautious as it did seem very oily for hair, but I used just a couple of drops as a conditioner, and WOW, my hair has never looked so good, a lovely sheen to it now.
I do not use it every time on my hair, I alternate between my normal conditioner.
But pleased to discover its brilliance as hair conditioner too.

  16. Anne C

I bought the large size and the packaging is so posh! The bottle itself is easy to grip, and it has a glass pipette to use just drops of oil, that is all you need. It seems much stronger and concentrated than other cheaper Argan Oils I have tried.
I have had the bottle 3 months now, and used daily, there is still some left.

  17. Wilma Yates

This is now my new must have, it is 100% natural and Pure, and Organic, its just great.

  18. T Phillips

The Prickly Pear Serum instantly hydrates and gives my skin a very nice glow without leaving any commonly known overly sticky oil residue, there is a bit of oiliness as it is an oil serum, but it does feel lighter than other oil serums.
It does seem to protect my skin from wind and cold dry air effectively as my skin hasn’t experienced any discomfort with dramatic temperature changes inside or out.
As for the firming benefits, I honestly haven’t experienced that much firming or wrinkle improvement, but rather I have noticed that my skin has become more resilient and smoother.

  19. Brenda

I really loved the ease of application for this product and how well it absorbs into your skin. I found it best to use after showering while skin is at its most absorbent, an added bonus is that it seems to last for ages and your skin feels so soft.
Love the fact that it is Organic and has no additives.

  20. Sian

I love this Prickly pear Seed Oil from The Pure Collection!
I used this on my face and neck at night and noticed an almost immediate brightening and lightening effect. What was most pronounced was where I was NOT using it, the area of my upper chest remained sun damaged whilst my neck and face (areas that I used the Prickly Pear Oil) was baby soft and clear of sun damage. Highly recommend and will certainly be buying again!

  21. Bernie

    The Best!
I have oily skin that does get dry when not properly moisturised.
I have in the past used heavier face oils to combat this, but to no avail.
I have since educated myself on the comedogenic properties of oils and found prickly pear is the highest in moisturising vitamin e and linoleic acid that will also moisturise and sink into the skin, that is available on the market.
This is all I use as my moisturising step because it’s all I need.
Certified Organic too. Just The Best!

  22. Joey F

I initially purchased this Prickly Pear Oil to help with my dark under eye circles. Not only did it help significantly with those, I have also noticed a huge improvement in my overall complexion and my blemishes are slowly starting to disappear.

  23. Tyrona J

I love this product and it has replaced my other moisturiser. It left my skin soft and radiant and while it did not eliminate fine lines completely, it certainly softened them to the point where they are less noticeable. On top of that, you only need few drops every night.

  24. T. Stevens

I have sensitive skin and found this oil I can actually use on my face and leaves it a glow

  25. Skin lover

The skincare and beauty industry today is similar to that of fast fashion – many questionable ethical practices, and of questionable quality.
I have made a conscious effort to stop paying for cheap filler ingredients and marketing hype, and am impressed with The Pure Collection’s business philosophy and products.
I want to know what I am buying and want to know it is safe.
I Would recommend the Prickly Pear Serum, which is a super ingredient on its own.
Cutting down my skincare routine to just these essentials did wonders for my sensitive skin. Less is definitely more, The Pure Collection’s products exemplify this.

  26. Becky

I’m 51 and have tried countless numbers of face creams over the years. However this is the first winter in years that I’ve not had dry flakes of skin on my face – all thanks to a daily application of Prickly Pear Serum.
