Who are they, what do they represent and why?

Since inception, we have been proud members of ‘PETA’ and their ‘Beauty Without Bunnies’ programme.  PETA also certify us as being Vegan. The logo as below, is for European brands, and differs from USA brands.PETA Approved   All of our products are vegan, other than our Detox Mask with honey.

We are also members of ‘Cruelty Free International’ who use the ‘Leaping Bunny Logo’ as below:

We would also never knowingly compromise our ethics for the sake of financial gain, by selling in countries that would endorse such abhorrent practices.

It does cost a small annual fee to be verified and to be members of the above groups, and to us it is shocking to us that some brands avoid this fee and still market themselves as ‘Cruelty free’.

For your own peace of mind, It is worth checking  the PETA or Cruelty Free International website to check their membership lists to see if your favourite brands are listed.

Another suggestion is to check the logos some brands use, as unfortunately, far too often, brands create their own fake logos to lure customers into believing they are buying genuine cruelty free products.

The founders being animal lovers themselves, have two dogs, (Pancho and Sammy) a cat (Puddy cat) and four chickens, (Posh, Sporty, Baby and Ginger)

They are strong believers that no animal should ever be harmed in the process of producing any skincare or beauty product, in their opinion, in todays world, it is totally unnecessary.
